TEXAS ICE CREAM SHOP LDS FAMILY LOVE

THAT MILKY SPIT UP ^_^

POP CHIPS SNACKS SMILES^SHE JUST KEPT SMILING AT HIM AND I ABOUT DIED!^

Last week we met Daniel for lunch, we ate in a park and then went for ice cream and shakes.  His work is a pretty fair drive away otherwise we would do this every day!  But to meet halfway every once in awhile is a great way to break up our day + the girls just love it!  Meeting daddy for lunch is one of my 5 favorite things to do with the little people.  I think getting out of the house is good for MY and the kids health.  Physically and MENTALLY lol.  Even if you don’t feel like it.  Do whatever it takes to DO IT anyway.  Even if it’s just a walk around the neighborhood.

1.MEET UP FOR LUNCH
If your hubby is able to take a lunch break and is wthin reasonable driving distance, you can make lunch or get take out and go to a park.  It’s oftenust what I need to power through the rest of my day.  Whenever we meet up with Daniel he and Kylie just play and I’m able to take a break, and just chill on a blanket with Harley and take a nap hehe.

2.CHILDREN’S MUSEUMS
Pretty much every city, area, county, zip code whatever has a children’s museum or something similar at least.  Just google it and it’s not difficult to find one close by.

3.WALKS
These are my favorite on clear days.  I get to be outside and get my vitamin D on.  Kylie burns a ton of energy running ahead then back to me then ahead then back again.

4.BUBBLES
Bubbles! Bubbles, bubbles, bubble! MY BUBBLES! Finding Nemo anyone?  Anyway.  Bubbles are easy and can keep a toddler (my toddler anyway) busy for hours if I had enough bubble blowing power in me.  Even better, get the kind that you can hold and your little ones will go wild!

5. PLAY DATES
This one I don’t do enough of.  Sure it’s difficult to coordinate schedule with everyone, but I need that social interaction with adults.  And I have a weekly play date thing going with two of my friends who just had babies, and then other random days during the month with a play group of women from church.  I always feel so re-energized after talking with other moms, and my little people are drained and go down for naps.  What could be more perfect 🙂
