Enter a Jane Austin World
Bed and breakfast Midway gem
Step into a Jane Austin world through this charming 1800 victorian home.
We found this little gem of a bed and breakfast located in Midway, the cutest little town just 20 minutes from Park City Utah.
We found it while driving through Midway/Heber after visiting our favorite creamery with the kiddos, and the quaint 3 story house just called to me! Whether you’re local or visisting from afar, this cozy colonial BNB will not disppoint.
Below I’ve listed some things to know, and other tips to enhance your stay!
Senator Bed & Breakfast Rooms
There are many rooms at the Senator Bed and Breakfast, and each one has name. We stayed in the “Spa Room”
Each room has a TV, lots of space for belongings, dressers, large closet etc.
Some of the rooms are ajoining.
There are no king beds in any of the rooms, so something to keep in mind. We weren’t bothered, it was like being newly weds again 😜
Incredible FOOD!
I’ve never been to a bed and breakfast, so I was honestly expecting the food to be your typical continental breakfast…which hey, I was fine with…but goodness were I expectations looooow.
They actually have a MENU, and daily specials the sweet owner takes your order and they cook it fresh in the large kitchen in the next room over. (Oh and this is included in your room cost).
The Menu
The menu consists of sweet and savory crepes, a variety of cooked eggs (scrambles, benedict, over easy), fruits, quiche, hearty cereals and many others.
The dining area is cozy and intimate, (so wear a mask or make sure your vaccinated) we met some wonderful peope, and I wanted to take pictures of all their food it looked so beautiful ahah. Daniel thanked me profusely that I didn’t 😂
*I got the savory benedict crepe and holy cow, I could have eaten 3! And they would have cooked me more! But we had things to get to so I didn’t take advantage of all you can eat hospitality this time haha.
Things to bring
Explor Midway Utah
Through FOOD: There are sooo many cute ma’ & pa eateries in Heber/Midway. From ice cream parlors, to coffee shops and cafes to even fine dining.
We tried the Cafe Galleria, and the 40 Back Steakhouse. Both incredibly delicious with a laid back cozy atmosphere.
(Both had outdoor seating and the weather is amazing!)
Through culture:
There are so many sites and activites.
You can visit the Homestead Crater (book ahead) a natural underground hot spring where it’s like swiming in an exotic warm cave.
The Midway creamery-get fresh milk and cheeses + homemade ice cream
The Heber Valley Train along the lake and many more activites, just get on google!
