9 year anniversary staycation!
I recently shared details on an adorable little bed and breakfast in Midway/Heber city that we visited (read that post HERE).
What I didn’t mention was it was in celebration of our 9 year wedding anniversary!
It’s crazy to think that nine years have been spent with this man. My best friend, my forever date, my therapist, my confidant my partner in crime.
We’ve been through so many ups and downs, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
The perfect romantic getaway
This Senator Bed & Breakfast makes me want to watch Jane Austin movies (which is exactly what we did lol). The decor, the ambiance all of it screams 1800 colonial charm.
Anniversary or staycation
There’s really no need to travel far to reconnect. Don’t get me wrong, we have a foreign destination in mind for our 10 year…but you can meet all your needs someplace local too.
Packing list for a romantic GETAWAY
- Candel
- Chocolate
- Favorite yummy drinks
- bubble bath! (The jacuzzi tubs are massive and sooo fun to take a bubble bath together). *They give you bath salt!
- They have just about every streaming service available to you so plan on snuggling up for some shows
- A throw blanket. They have blankets, but sometimes your own is so much better
- popcorn-There is a small community Kitchen on the 3rd level with a fridge and microwave.
