Things to do in Salt Lake City with Kids
Cawabunga Bay water park
If you are looking for things to do in Salt Lake City, you must check out this fun water park. Cawabunga Bay can be seen from I-15, but there is more to it than the towering water slides that drivers see and “wonder” about. It’s actually family friendly for a wide range of ages.
We recently spent the evening here with our three littles (ages 1-7 yrs) and were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. Now keep it mind…if you are from large cities like my husband and I….we grew up with Sea World, Schlitterbahn etc, then this is by no means a “large” water park…but it works, and it’s almost MORE relaxing, beacuse you can pick your one spot, and not have to relocate in order for the kids to try everything. 👍🏽
Below I’ve compiled a list of helpful things to know as a parent-or with a group of friends-before going.

Age appropriate attractions
Are you wondering how old your kids should be to come to this water park, and enjoy it?
Honestly. ANY AGE!
They have…
-Shallow kid pool area where our 1 year old loved walking around and splashing in. You could also comfortably sit in this pool with an infant and let their feet dangle in water.
-Splash pad are for kiddos who don’t like big slides or deep water.
-Kids’ park area with a small water slide, ankle deep water and climping apparatuses…basically a play ground sitting in 5 inches of water.
Lazy river. No need to rent a tube like some water parks. Just grab on of the many tubes sitting around and jump on in.
Plenty of massive water slides!
