Our heart warming adventure

Our Family’s ‘Maiden Voyage’ in Our New Trailer – An Adventure

I think the highlight of our “maiden voyage”  had to be the fact that all five of us were able to spend quality time together something that doesn‘t happen regularly in our fastpaced lives. 2 adults, 3 kids, 1 newborn and 2 furry pups, all squished together in the trailer, with the Murphy bed repeatedly refusing to fold up, (which impeded on the extra space during the day) but it was worth it! 🙌🏽

Unplug and recharge | reconnecting as a family on this “maiden voyage”

On the trip, we weren‘t plugged in to our electronics, no TV, no laptops, or iPads. We were just out in nature, immersed in the great outdoors and the conversations were neverending. We hiked through some canyons, and even the dogs had the chance to take a dip in the lake (even though it was FREEEZING). It was so peaceful, and even though it was a bit tight, we all felt a deeper connection to one another.

It was also a great exercise for my goal this year, which is to “embrace the chaos” and be less anxed and a more mindful mother.

Sand Hallow | An escape to “warmer weather”

Even though it wasn’t summer vibes by any means, it was a little warmer in southern Utah (at least no snow on the ground) 👍🏽

And although it was a short trip, we were able to get some much needed quality time together.
We’ll be doing this again soon, so stay tuned for the next adventure!
