WHITE WINTER DRESS
Is there truly anything better than clothing that doubles as normal wear AND (cute) maternity? Seriously, nothing makes me more happy (during these pregnancy months anyway haha). And even MORE SO during the winter months. I recently put together this winter dress ensemble with a summer dress no less.
I have this dress in (no joke) 5 colors! And I’ve used them for my last 3 babies. They are meant for warmer weather, but can easily be made for colder months as well.
Let me tell ya, they are a LIFESAVER not only during pregnancy but ALL THE TIME….I can feel cute, when in reality all I did was basically throw an extra long t-shirt over my head! 🤪
I normally wear a small/xsmall in this style of dress, but I went for a medium for the bit of extra length (the medium comes to about 2 inches above my knee) and because of that, they double as my favorite maternity dresses.
Winter Dress shoot family shenanigans!
Kylie (my oldest daughter if you are new here) is taking a photography class. Let’s just say I’ve been enjoying the benefits immensely! She likes to be MY photographer, and of course, where one child is involved, ALL the others want to take part too.
So this Winer Dress Shoot turned into a family affair, with lots of squeels, fighting for front and center, goofy faces and lots of laughs.
How I assembled this White Winter Dress look
Just 2 steps!
- Layers: This dress is a tank style, so I added this thin layering long sleeve underneath for warmth
- Accessorize: This is where you really choose the direction the look takes. Make it edgy with a leather jacket. Or cozy casual with a flannel over shirt or cardigan/sweater (this one on sale!). I wanted something in between classy and cozy. So I went with this SUPER soft fur vest.

PROS:
❄️ I could not be happier with the look it provides! I feel it really brings together the entire winter dress look.
❄️And it’s sooo much softer in person than I was expecting (I was kinda expecting a sheep skin rug type texture…this is more like a fluffly cloud)
❄️Love the contrast of the black leather buckles against the white/ivory
CONS:
❄️Quality-although not horrible, doesn’t equal up to the price. (I’m honestly still debating sending it back….)
❄️Doesn’t provide much warmth-although it is ADORABLE and soft, I had to wear a coat over it to go out the other day.
❄️Lastly-this sorta falls under quality I suppose-the buckles, though the look it great, feel like they’re made from cheap cheap pleather…
