Weekly Workout Plan
Sometimes all you really need in order to get into a good workout regime, is a realistic PLAN. So I’m sharing my weekly workout plan with you today! And 3 things that can help you stay consistant.
*obviously with 3 kids and it being summer, I sometimes need to shift things around. But I never let myself feel “guilty” if I miss a workout, or “punish” myself for only doing half of what I planned. We’re shoothing for sustainability here.

Workout Plan tip 1.
Find a way to make it enjoyable!
Being constantly on the go, making meals, supervising chore time, changing diapers, driving to ballet classes, gymnastics and soccer…I CRAVE my a lone time. (Yes I am an extrovert…but let’s be honest every body can use some time to themselves every once in awhile.)
So therefore, my morning hikes/runs with my pup are something I look forward to.
The air is cool and fresh in the mornings, everything is so peaceful. I can listen to the music I like (no Frozen soundtrack here) or podcasts or inspirations talks, or sometimes nothing at all….and it really helps set the mood for the day.
Weekly Workout Plan tip 2.
Manage your time. This will look different for everyone. To give an idea here is roughly what my week looks like (You can print my free weekly workout plan pdf at the end of the post)
Mon, Wed, Fri: I go on early morning hikes/jogs in the canyon near our home.
Tues, Thur: resistance training. Typically during Roman’s first nap. I tried doing it in the evenings but I’m usually too wiped out by then.
15 min yoga (minimum) Every day.
*If I can do all one day, I do…but I think it’s important to not hold myself to that expectation.
Weekly Workout Plan tip 3
Have something you enjoy listening to…a good workout playlist, podcast, audio book etc. For me, what I pick vaires on my mood for that day.
