St Thomas Virgin Island Beaches cannot be beat.
The Virgin Islands have a vast number of beautiful beaches, with crystal clear water, white sandy beaches and oceans so blue they look fake! (Similar to Destin, you can check out that trip HERE )
We stayed on St Thomas USVI, and visited a number of beaches while there. I’ll be posting details of each over the next few posts so keep following along!
Today is my feature on Coki Beach.
Cokie Beach was by far one of our favorites. Primarily because it tends to be one of the less crowded ones on St Thomas. However there are some very useful things to know, so keep scrolling.
Coki Beach Virgin Islands (what to know)
Coki Beach Parking $5—Most St Thomas beaches USVI beaches are paid parking. Parking is limited at Coki Beach, so get there early! And bring exact cash amount (sometimes they have change, but not often, especially if you get there first thing in the morning)
Get There Early—I’d recommend getting to Coki Beach before 11:30 on weekdays, before noon for SURE! This way you will get parking easily, AND get a prime spot on the beach. We liked the area to the left, against the rocks in its own little cove.
Umbrellas/Chairs for rent—-$10/$5 (all beaches we visited on St Thomas USVI had these available, but Coki Beach prices were by far the best)
Snorkel Gear—Available for rent (and it was pretty nice) $10 until 5pm, or individual items (mask, flippers, snorkel) for $5 each. May as well get the set. PS. Coki Beach also had the best deal for this as well.
Live music-–They have live music on Coki Beach on Sunday mornings.
Food—Coki Beach has food and drinks available for purchase. We didn’t eat there, but by the time we were leaving it was ‘hoppin’ so my guess is it’s good.
