a guide to wellness during covid

“In the presence of nature, a wild delight runs through the man, in spite of real sorrows.” –Ralph Waldo Emerson

1-Breathe Fresh Air

Probably more important now than ever is to find wellness within ourselves, and to find wellness in our daily lives.  There is no excuse not to breathe the healing fresh air.  Even if your area is on lock down, open a window!  Your body and mind will thank you. 💗

2-Get Out and MOVE

You don’t have to do strenuous exercise, you can simply walk around your yard, to the end of your street, do yoga, or where you are able, hike to a secluded and quiet area. I’ve been going on daily morning hikes with Misa and it is amazing how mentally healing it has been.

3-Remember Your Human Side

This may be the most important during these times.  We are human, and by nature CRAVE to connect with other humans.  Maybe conditions do not allow you to connect in the same ways as before.  But you can call, text, write a card…remember to be “socially distant” is not the same as “emotionally distant”
