Do you show yourself “self love” or are you always putting others’ needs before your own with an “everyone else is more important” mentality. I’m not talking about vanity and BIG HEADEDNESS…because that is not LOVE.
It really is okay (and VITAL) to love yourself…because how can you possibly love others, or teach others to love if you don’t even know how to show love to yourself???
LOVE vs VANITY
“Vanity is not love, that is only fear” ~Louise Hay
So often we lack SELF LOVE because we’ve somehow come to think of self love, pride and vanity as one and the same. That’s simply NOT true.
By definition LOVE is simply “A deep affection for someone or something.”
And vanity is “excessive pride in one’s achievements. Putting oneself above another”
It is not a evil to love yourself. Doesn’t the Bible even say love thy neighbor as THYSELF ??? In other words “SELF LOVE”
How you treat others, how you view the world, and the people in your life are all reflections of how you feel about yourself.
Think on that for a moment.
Imagine how much better the world would be if we ALL loved ourselves, and reflected that love outwards?
SELF LOVE AFFIRMATIONS
I love myself | I APPOROVE OF MYSELF | I am lovable | I radiate love |
I am deserving of love | WHEN I LOVE OTHERS LOVE COMES BACK TO ME |
i am loved
I LOVE MYSELF!
