sweet and tender sibling photo

It’s been just these two for the longest time, I wasn’t sure how they would adjust…especially Harley. Being a middle child myself, I want to do everything in my power to prevent her from feeling like “the invisible child”

I don’t know if it’s because we were mentally preparing for what needed to be done, or because we’ve done this before and knew (kinda) what to expect. But adding one more to the mix really hasn’t been all that difficult. The girls love having a baby in the house…and they pretty much just do their own thing throughout the day. Now granted, because of Corona (or as our friend has dubbed it, the “boomer doomer”) Daniel is working from home, and life overall is less ‘busy’. In other words, I have not been forced to face the challenge that is a Costco run with all 3 littles. (And I dread that day). But I’ll take it for what it is now, a pleasant transition from a family of 4 to a family of 5.

Taken moments after he was born. That little cord was just oxygen draped over my shoulder and blowing towards his face.
