COUSINS!

Oh I’m so so so HAPPY!  My brother and his little family are visiting us in Texas.  They’ve never been (of course I’ve seen them when I go to Utah to visit my family) and we’ve been having a blast.  It makes me long for the girls to live near their cousins.  They’ve been running wild through fields, squealing in the back seat of the car and just loving being around each other.  I remember growing up near my cousins, and it was always an exciting thing to go “visit the DeMartinis” and I hope that my girls feel the same way about their cousins, too.

SINCE IT’S THEIR FIRST TIME IN TEXAS WE WANTED TO MAKE SURE AND SHOW THEM A GOOD TIME.  A BIG PART OF THAT IS THE FOOOOD.  SO OF COURSE WE HAD TO TAKE THEM TO “TEJAS BBQ & CHOCOLATE”  RATED #6 IN THE NATION FOR BBQ.  THEY REALLY ARE OH SO GOOD!  *here we are having some photo fun with the kiddos while we wait in the looong line, but we couldn’t ask for better weather.

 

I’VE LIVED IN HOUSTON ALMOST 5 YEARS NOW AND HAVE NEVER SEEN THE WATER WALL.  NOW FINALLY I HAVE, AND COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER COMPANY.  BEING A PHOTOGRAPHER I DON’T KNOW WHY I NEVER UTILIZED THIS PLACE MORE! (MAYBE BECAUSE OF THE DRIVE….) BUT I DEFINITELY WILL BE NOW.

THIS SWEET LADY IN THE PARK STARTED BLOWING BUBBLES FOR THE KIDDOS.  HOW MAGICAL IS THIS SHOT?!  DIDN’T HAVE MY GOOD CAMERA BUT I’M GRATEFUL MY PHONE CAME THROUGH 😀
