gourmet brie

Ready to feel like a gourmet chef in 20 minutes with only 3 ingredients?
And YES!  This is just a delicious as it sounds!  If you’ve never tried baked brie then you are missing out on a little slice of cheese heaven my friends.  Think of warm oozing brie on a french baguette with the perfect combination of sweet and savory.  And it’s sooo ridiculously easy and it’s good without the embellishments and garnishes as well.  But with this almond glazed version, it’s so easy that you might as well add the extra kick of flavor.  Seriously this is perfect for any big party, or any small gathering aka movie nights with friends or even just a party of you and your two toddlers at 9:00 AM (eh hem…which I might have done).  Even my toddlers love this stuff!  So keep scrolling for the recipe

You can eat this with french bread slices or crackers, it’s great both ways, we prefer it with bread though, because i mean…it’s BREAD.

prep time: 10 min
cook time: 10 min
total time: 20 min
(serious how can you beat that!)

::What you will need::

one container of brie (be sure it comes in the round and NOT the pre-sliced wedges, it needs to be completely wrapped in the rind)
1/4 cup of almonds (chopped)
1/4 cup honey (agave can be used, just use a tiny bit less as it will be runnier than honey)
optional: rosemary (only 3 pieces, DO NOT over do it with the rosemary)

::directions::

Place brie on non greased baking sheet, and place in oven at 350 F for 10 minutes
While the brie is baking combing honey and rosemary (if using) in small saucepan on medium heat.  stir in chopped almonds.  Stir constantly for 5 minutes.
Remove the brie from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.  Pour almond mixture over top and serve immediately with bread or crackers and fruit.
ENJOY!
