I really really want to tone up. I’ve started a new “diet” I hate using that word-more like a lifestyle change-where i’m more constructive with my macros, and I’m also counting and keeping track. I was very fortunate to drop the baby weight fairly quickly by only eating sugar veeery rarely, but I lost a lot of lean muscle during both pregnancies and it’s always been a dream of mine to be toned and defined. It’s finally becoming a reality! Since I’m eating fewer fats, and almost NO sweets, I need to get creative with my snacking replacements. These little babies are the perfect guilt free treat that actually helps me reach my macro goals 😀 win-win! You will love them!
You guys these have saved my life. I love my chocolate but I also love to stay on track. These are the perfect guilt free indulge treat.
*makes approx. 12*
6 Tbls coconut flour
8 Tbls almond milk (use choc for extra richness)
1 Tbl honey
2 Tbls vanilla protein powder (or you can use chocolate)
1 tbls unsweetened coco powder
Outside
15 Ghiradelli dark chocolate melting wafers
1 Tbls coconut shreds
Mix all ingredients (minus the coconut shreds and melting wafers) in a medium size bowl. Allow to chill in the fridge for 10 minutes. Remove and roll dough into balls.
Step 2–melt wafers in microwave until chocolaty smooth. Coat one ball at a time in the chocolate by placing in the bowl of melted chocolate and removing promptly with a spoon. Place on parchment paper covered baking sheet to cool. Add the coconut shreds (do this immediately as the chocolate hardens quickly). After coating all the balls, put in the fridge or enjoy right away!
