JEANS (old) SIMILAR | TEE  (run big, I’m wearing xs for reference)| BEDDING

So much has happened just in the last month, it’s been a whirwind!  Good things, but still it makes life busy, busy, busy! Stuff is finally starting to settle, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to update y’all in on what’s been going on in our life.

First off, we MOVED!  Only like 50 yards from where we were, but still, it’s new, it’s fun, it’s fresh, and i LOVE it.  Don’t know if you knew, but we’ve been living in a small little cottage for the last year (almost). It was our own Little House On the Prairie dream, and last year was an extremely magical time.  But because it was small, Kylie’s room was the laundry room/bathroom lol.  She was a trooper and we didn’t mind all that much, but after a year needless to say that she’d out grown it just a bit.  Now she has her own room.  And MOM has a play space for her toys to be all over the floor and OUT-OF-SIGHT.  WooHoo!!!  But really, I’m so excited for what our new place has in store for us.
Bread baker!  Our neighbors/friends/Texas family, whatever you want to call them 🙂  taught me how to make this amaaaazing bread.  I’ve made bread for awhile, but knew there were different things involved when NOT using white flour…up until now I’ve been too lazy/nervous to attempt it.  But they have this delicious spelt bread recipe and it’s seriously the best bread I’ve ever had.  I’ll be sharing that here on the blog soon.
Ok so I guess those are the only updates really…but with all the tiny minor changes here and there they feel like a lot but not worth going into detail.  We took a family vacation, stayed at our friends lake house, explored Jackson Wyoming area (see Yellowstone pics HERE)  made new friends (who are now leaving us 🙁 ) Life is in a world WONDERFUL right now.  And is only getting better

OK, OK, on to the fun fashion stuff.  Y’all know that I looove T shirts and jeans.  I was actually telling Daniel not to let me buy any more t-shirts until I build a small collection of dressier more sophisticated clothes (for church, date nights ya know…but especially church…I’m kinda past the age of being able to go in a skirt and Tee and having that be ok haha).  But of course I found these shirts when they were on sale, and I couldn’t pass them up.  They are so soft, they don’t shrink, they’re slimming without being super tight fitted, they’re long (huge plus in my book) they are fairly easy to dress up or dress down, not to mention comfy beyond belief.  They are so perfect for lounging or getting things done in or out of the house.  I love anything that makes me feel dressed up yet comfortable.  Where I can be pretty, but also have pillow fights with my babies and not worry about what i’m wearing to get ruined, wrinkled or what have you.  The last few days this has been especially important, with the girlies being sick and basically putting me on house arrest, it’s difficult finding motivation to change out of my sweats.  But I get excited about putting these shirts on.  I want to go back and get one of every color!  But I’m exercising self control haha.  They were kinda a splurge for me (for just a basic tee) but have proved to be sooooo worth it!  I have the white and the navy blue.
Anyway, I’ll save the rest of our day to day life activities for another post so that I don’t overdue it here.  Thanks for stopping by!
xoxo
