It’s no secret that figs are delicious, unique, sweet and just amazing! Maybe you don’t like figs…and that’s ok, but let me tell ya, don’t decide that you don’t like them until you’ve tried black mission figs. There are different types, and honestlly I’ve only tried like 3 different kinds, but Black Mission figs are my absolute favorite. When I was little, we had a GIANT, and I mean GIANT fig tree in our back yard. (Of course this was in California where everything grows) and I would climb that tree everyday, and stay up there almost all day long, because the there is nothing like a fresh sweet fig, while shaded in the branches on a warm sunny day….ahhh so many good memories! But anyway, not only are they like my favorite fruit, but they are soooo healthy, with many, many unique health benefits. I mean c’mon, if Christ himself enjoyed eating figs (which he did….it’s mentioned in the Bible, so I’m not just making stuff up lol), they have to be good for you.
